Blue Lapis Goldfilled Necklace
Well, it's in the works! I'm not sure if it's the beautiful weather here at the Jersey shore or if I'm being pulled in too many directions but this poor necklace has been on my workbench for two weeks now waiting patiently to be finished. Today, will be the day to get it completed. Now that I sit here writing about this Lapis and Cintrine necklace I am remembering why I stopped. I was at a quandary with finishing the necklace. I like things that are mismatched. I like stones at the clasp area not to match. I may actually match this with lapis by the clasp or mismatch with clear quartz and amethyst. Any suggestions? Match or mismatch? What gemstones?

This looks great! I'm a match girl myself. Usually with Swarovski. LOL But in this case I'd do lapis so that the Citrine stays the star. Whatever you do, though, I'm sure will be great!
ReplyDeleteI've had so little time to bead lately too. I'm missing it!
You just may be right, Mary Anne! I also love Swarovski crystals. Hope you're enjoying the summer.
ReplyDeleteAnne-took your advice lapis at the end of the clasp. Thanks. Now to take photos and upload them to my website.
ReplyDeleteI love this necklace! It's so pretty and classy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Miss Val! I'm trying some different ideas. I had fun doing this one...but then again I have fun with it all! On my website there is a photo of the same necklace with a white background - looks cool.
ReplyDeleteHope ur doing good! Do you ever sell at shows?
